About the shop
Black Pepper Woodworking is a one-man shop in Katy, Texas. Baldemar has spent thirty years in IT, and the garage shop is where the hands-on work happens. It started with the usual workbenches, then a 40 inch wall clock, and grew into custom furniture and one-off pieces for homes around Houston and Katy.
Every piece is built to order, one at a time, from lumber selection through the final coat of finish.
Off the bench, Baldemar's interests run to WW2 history, homemade tortillas, and black pepper.
